The 2002 Hunting Season

The 2002 hunt was a great one for The Gunnison Country Guide Service with one of the highest success rates in our 25 year history. Our guided elk hunters had a 100% kill rate during the 3rd and 4th rifle seasons and we were close to doing the same thing during the first two rifle seasons. Drop camp hunters reported many elk sightings, many good shooting opportunities, and high success rates. Most importantly, so many reported having a real good time, and are planning to return again in 2003. We hope that you too can join us for a great experience and a great time here in the Gunnison Country.
